Welcome
Welcome to my Green Nuneaton website. It is now in its second year and is being expanded to cover a wider range of issues. It started back in January 2006 to campaign against the Warwickshire County Council waste strategy, which proposed building a 200,000 tonne per year incinerator. At the time the most likely location for the incinerator was on the site of the old rock crushing area next to Judkins quarry on the west of Nuneaton. That battle it seems has been won. I am still fighting the building of over sized, resources destroying mass burn waste incinerators by helping campaigns elsewhere in England. The latest one proposed is to be somewhere in Leicestershire. Many other issues need our attention like cuts at the hospital, downgrading of our train service and energy wasted. As always there is so much to do and too few people. Please help by joining one of the many groups working to improve our towns and protect our environment. Keith Kondakor
